The coordination, monitoring and evaluation meetings of the activities of the humanitarian action project “Emergency health care for the population displaced by the armed conflict in Cabo Delgado” were held at the headquarters of the Ancuabe, Namuno and Montepuez districts. financed by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), with the participation of rights holders, the beneficiary community and technicians from the respective district health services.

On October 13, 14 and 16, within the framework of the Humanitarian Action Project 2022-2024 financed by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and the co-financing of the municipalities of Granollers, Sant Cugat del Vallès and Rubí , medicusmundi, through its collaborators and activists in the resettlement centers, carried out the first cycle of distribution of dignity kits to vulnerable women, victims of the armed conflict in the North of the province of Cabo Delgado and resettled in the districts of Montepuez and Namuno.

Last Thursday, September 14th, medicusmundi team in Cabo Delgado’s province had the honour of being received by the Honourable Administrator of the District of Namuno, Mrs. Maria Felisbela Félix Lázaro.

medicusmundi and Fórum Mulher have been supporting the Government of Mozambique in the operation of the Multisectoral Mechanism for Comprehensive Care for Women Victims of Violence (MMAIMVV). The main objective is to prevent, avoid and alleviate the suffering of women victims of violence.
