Maria Felisbela Félix Lázaro, Namuno's District Administrator, directed on March 22, 2022, the work of the IV Advisory Council of the Namuno's District Service of Health, Woman and Social Action (SDSMAS), in Cabo Delgado Province.
The basic competencies of the Advisory Council include discussing, on a yearly basis, the activities carried out by the sector in Namuno's district, as well as the actions carried out by its cooperation partners. On this occasion, the following documents were presented:
"At any time the patient addresses health facilities must benefit from proper medical care."
On the other hand, there were also presented the annual reports of the following institutions: Ariel Glaser, Aga Khan Foundation, Associação Progresso (Projecto Viva +), FDC, Ukumi Unauavia, Solidarmed and medicusmundi.
After the presentations of the reports followed the respective debates for clarification and exchange of ideas. At the time, the District Administrator stressed that "the health professional has no Saturday, Sunday or holiday", adding that "at any time the patient addresses health facilities must benefit from proper medical care."
At the meeting, the Health Centres’ directors, the different sections and programmes SDSMAS heads, and the Cabo Delgado's Provincial Health Service representative, Dr Basílio dos Mwelos, also participated.
